The acquisition process is critical to the success of a portfolio. TCC has had fifteen years of experience in acquiring TLC’s and over that time has developed an effective and efficient system.

The following criteria are used when analyzing the risk of each lien:

  • Property Value
  • Lien amount
  • Age of Property
  • Geographic location of property
  • Property Type / Use
  • Lien to Value Ratio

Once these criteria are reviewed a drive-by inspection list is generated based on the risk analysis. On average TCC performs pre-purchase physical inspections on between 25% - 30% of liens purchased
